The Song of Francis - Read The Song of Francis by Tomie dePaola (available on-line through We Give Books). Discuss how St Francis showed care for creation by calling every part of creation his brother or sister. This showed great love and respect for every part of nature. Students could create bird collages inspired by the artwork in this book.
