St Therese of Lisieux - Teacher Notes
Suggested activities:
Flower collage - Each student designs their own flower to contribute to a wall display that celebrates the beauty in the diversity of nature. Remind the students that just as each flower is different and special, each person is beautiful and special. If every person was exactly the same, our class would not be as wonderful as it is. "If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness." St Therese of Lisieux
Nature walk - Take a walk around the school grounds and notice the diversity in the plant life around the school. Discuss how different plants serve different purposes. Some hold the soil together to stop erosion, some smell lovely, some give us shade, some give shelter to animals, some we can eat...

The Little Way - Students write ideas for small actions they could take that would show love for others and creation. They could write each idea on a piece of paper cut into a "rock" shape and these "rocks" can be used to create a display about "the Little Way". Alternatively, use the worksheet provided to have students record their own ideas to fill the pathway.
